Two seas, over 300 days of sunshine a year and beaches to give and take make the Costa Calida a destination with almost infinite possibilities. The area of La Manga and the Mar Menor, icon of tourism in the region, is a vacation paradise where the large hotel complexes coexist with more bohemian secret areas and pristine beaches. As a spectacular succession of cliffs and secluded coves slate advancing southwards their way down to Cartagena and its urban coast.
The next highlight in Mazarrón, a destination of sun and night, ideal to enjoy a day on the beach to stay awake until dawn. Without doubt, the most unknown face of Murcia is inside. Ricote Valley is a fertile valley of palms and fruit preserving still intact the spirit of Moorish culture. This oasis is the best place to recharge and reconnect with the authentic. The Natural Park of Sierra Espuña is the green lung of the region, ideal for sports lovers of nature, friends forests and homemade food. The highlands of the Northeast in the Altiplano, are rich in wine, culture and cave paintings. Here the scenery is so spectacular that seem painted and good taste and hospitality are constant. On the opposite side, in the Northwest, it is tradition walk the Via Verde, climb the highest peak in the region, look out the old Iberian world and savor one of the best rice dishes in Spain the shelter of a fire.
